With regards to the design of pre-cast masonry lintels:

(1) Has anyone seen any with a product approval code?

(2) Are they designed according to a prescriptive code that designates a certain rebar size and number and a certain concrete section size according to type of load like a wood header would be?:

(3) Or, do pre-cast companies usually custom engineer each item for each job?
