GOVERNOR CRIST APPOINTS SIX TO THE 

CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY LICENSING BOARD

 

TALLAHASSEE - Governor Charlie Crist today announced the following
reappointment and appointments: 

Construction Industry Licensing Board 
(Senate confirmation required) 

*       Mark A. Pietanza, 41, of Weston, vice president of operations,
Atlantic Coast Fire Equipment, reappointed for a term beginning October
17, 2008, and ending October 31, 2011.  

*       Elbert R. Batton, 63, of Okeechobee, owner, Lake View Builders,
succeeding Barry Kalmanson, appointed for a term beginning October 17,
2008, and ending October 31, 2011.  

*       James C. Evetts, 55, of Port Charlotte, building official, City
of Winter Haven, succeeding Robert W. Stewart, appointed for a term
beginning October 17, 2008, and ending October 31, 2011. 

*       Jerry D. Hussey, 49, of Fort Myers, construction manager, HK
Construction, succeeding Anthony L. Terhaar, appointed for a term
beginning October 17, 2008, and ending October 31, 2011.  

*       Roy R. Lenois, 62, of Port Orange, owner, Artesian Pools of East
Florida, succeeding Joan M. Brown, appointed for a term beginning
October 17, 2008, and ending October 31, 2011.  

*       Wilbert Malphus, 67, of Lutz, president, Malphus and Son General
Contractors, succeeding Dolores Clark, appointed for a term beginning
October 17, 2008, and ending October 31, 2010.
