Hi all, I'm working on a project in west Florida where the owner of a three story office building wants to lease out part of the second floor. The building was constructed in 2006 and is fully sprinkled. There are two exits, one on each end of the building. The plan is to split the second floor in half with a 2 hour wall and door interlocked with the alarm/sprinkler system. What are the requirements for tenant separation? If we put in the wall splitting the second floor in half latitudinal and will the code allow us to use interlocked exit access doors to provide the 2 exit requirement or will each space be required to have two exits? Thanks, Benji
