Notice - up-coming meetings

Conference call meetings:

- 	July 28, 2009 at 10:30 a.m., the Structural Technical Advisory
Committee will meet via conference call.  The purpose of this meeting is
to review recommendations of the Flood Resistant Standards Workgroup for
consideration by the Commission and provide recommendation on
Declaratory Statements for consideration by the Commission.
	
-	July 29, 2009 at 9:00 a.m., the Code Administration Technical
Advisory Committee will meet via conference call (concurrent with the
Electrical TAC).
            The purpose of this meeting is to review and provide
recommendation on Declaratory Statements for consideration by the
Commission.

-	July 29, 2009 at 9:00 a.m., the Electrical Technical Advisory
Committee will meet via conference call (concurrent with the Code
Administration TAC)
	The purpose of this meeting is to review and provide
recommendation on Declaratory Statements for consideration by the
Commission.

-	August 4, 2009 at 10:00 a.m., the Education Program Oversight
Committee will meet via conference call.  The purpose of this meeting is
to discuss "accreditor" and "course" applications for recommendation to
the Florida Building Commission; discuss archiving outdated pending
courses; and general subject matters.

Rule Hearing:

August 11, 2009 there will be rule hearing on Rule 9B-72.090:  Product
Approval by the Commission.  The purpose of the hearing is to propose
increasing product approval fees to a level that generates sufficient
revenue to pay for the costs associated with the program.

Rule Workshop:

July 20, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. there will be a rule workshop on Rule
9B-72.100 and Rule 9B-72.130.  The purpose of the workshop is to adopt
criteria by which the Florida Building Commission can approve evaluation
entities.

Written comments on Rule 9B-72.090 will be accepted by August 6th and at
the hearing; and written comments on the workshop (Rule 9B-72.100 &
