I can use a little assistance. 20-minute doors in a one-hour rated assembly between a residential unit and an interior egress corridor. The building is sprinkled, multi-story, non-combustible construction. Where do I find specific information on the requirements for the door¹s performance? Smoke and fire resistance, in particular. I have a contractor who wants to undercut the doors 1/2² for a pressurized a/c system to push air into the units. Naturally, this seems stupid to me, but I need code or standard data to back it up. Thank you all very much. Eric -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
