Application is as follows: Commercial Building, Condos, Exterior walls are metal stud framed with dense glass sheathing. Looking for a specific code on installation of dense glass sheathing, more specifically the allowable min. and max. spacing to be held up off slab. There is nothing specified in our drawings. Typically on a balcony situation we would hold the dense glass off the slab 1/2" / 5/8" using a scrap piece of material allowing for caulking in the waterproofing process.
