I agree totally that all ext drs SHOULD swing out..... I have been 'suggesting' this to my clients for YEARS...Plus it gives you the advantage to be able to close the door when you have unwanted persons there..... It doesn't look like it requires the swing to be of any particular direction. I also did not see any changes to this section in either of the Supplements. On the other hand, building safety groups have lately been encouraging the use of doors that swing out because they are less likely to be blown open in a windstorm.
