October 12, 2009 Florida Building Commission Meeting:

The Florida Building Commission will meet October 12-14, 2009 in the
Embassy Suites Hotel, Tampa, Florida. Please see link below for more

Rule Workshop - Product Approval:

October 13, 2009 at 8:30 a.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter comes
before the Commission in accordance with its agenda, there will be a
rule workshop on Rule 9B-72.130. The purpose of the proposed rule is to
restrict applications for approval of products to 150 products per
application and to remove specific reference to fee amounts on the
screens. Written comments on the proposed rule will be accepted through
October 9th by 5:00 p.m. or at the work shop. For written please send
comments to following email address:  <mailto:mo.madani at dca.state.fl.us>

Approval/Manufactured Building Program Oversight Committee (POC) will
take up this issue at its conference call meeting of October 8, 2009 at
