The wall needs to be supported on a footing. The Florida Building Code requires the use of the footing. The wall needs to be braced immediately to prevent overturning and potential injury. Samuel A. The wall is already installed (illegally) with no tie to the slab rebar. What are the ramnifications of leaving it without a footer & should I just ignore it since it is already done ?
