I have a small room utility room in a block house thats being converted to a closet and as such need to finish it with sheetrock. Just curious as to the current ideas on how best to do this and still conserve space? Walls are above ground (not a basement). My initial thought is ¾ (or possibly 1-1/2) furring strips but wondering if I need to do any insulation or vapor barrier or seal the block. Any and all thoughts are welcome and appreciated.
