Thanks to everyone that responded to my question. I ended up talking the the mechanical inspector in Hernando County. For reference in Hernando County on an existing property you can go back at whatever hieght the old unit was at. They do not expect you to change it to meet newer codes. Their biggest concern is that no wind can get under the unit. Thanks again.
