This is to inform you that the proposed code amendment cycle to the 2010 update to the Florida Building Code will commence March 1, 2010 and will close by midnight April 2, 2010. The draft 2010 update to the Florida Building Code (FBC) consists of the 2009 International Building Codes (I-Codes) as the foundation and the Florida specific requirements currently existing within the 2007 Florida Building Code and compiled in documents title "Florida Supplements to the 2009 I-Codes". Proposed code modifications are accepted electronically via the www.floridabuilding.org website. In order to stream-line the code modification submittal process, a new and improved "Code Modification Module" has been developed. Under the new Code Modification Module, there is no need to download a form. All of the information necessary to submit a modification may now be executed on-line at www.floridabuilding.org through the code mdofication database. To familiarize yourself with the new module, we advise that you take the time to review the list of "Questions & Answers" and the "Users Guide" available at the following link: CORRECTED HYPERLINK - below: <http://www.floridabuilding.org/cm/cm_faq.aspx> http://www.floridabuilding.org/cm/cm_faq.aspx <http://www.floridabuilding.org/cm/cm_faq.aspx> -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
