No decisions as of yet. It's my understanding that the DBPR is going back to the legislature with a bill to clarify grandfathering. When licensing starts, and I doubt it will be in July as scheduled, you'll have to get a license as a home inspector. Looks like they are going to give them to anyone with a pulse who can pass a yet to be specified exam, so it shouldn't be a problem. I have done home inspections in the past as a licensed Building Contractor and I am also a Licensed A/C Contractor as well. I think licensing is a good idea, I just want to know if I will still be allowed to do them with my current licenses?
