MessageIf you patch a truss then it is a repair, if you replace a truss it is a level 1 alteration.

  Fire-damaged SFR.  Approximately 40% of roof structure destroyed with some minor damage to interior partitions.  Is the restoration to building considered repair or alteration under Florida Existing Building Code?  (Heard different opinions on this.)  Any and all replies will be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.
