-----Original Message----- From: Florida Building Commission [mailto:codes at floridabuilding.org] Sent: Wednesday, June 30, 2010 3:16 PM Subject: Update: New Modification Detail Reports and Tracking Documents All interested groups, This is to let you know that we have updated the proposed code modification detail reports and tracking charts that will be used at the upcoming rule development workshops for reviewing and consideration of the proposed code changes to the 2010 Florida Building Code. The reason for the update is to accommodate comments received from the public during the last conference call. For ease of review and track-ability, the modification detail reports and tracking charts have been updated and re-organized by sub-code, chapter and code section. In addition, as part of the tracking chart, a comment box has been added to provide ample space for recording notes on modifications. Please make sure to use the latest charts in your review and preparation for the upcoming workshops. To see these updates 1. navigate your browser to www.floridabuilding.org. 2. Here click on the bottom right button "Proposed Code Modifications" 3. Here select Hot Topics or FAQ (Getting Started). 4. Select TAC Meeting Schedule / Workshops Note: Under hot topics, you may have to hit the + (plus sign) next to the 2010 FBC Code Development Process and Documents to expand the folder Note: Proposed code modifications that are to be reviewed by more than one TAC is not currently implemented in the online crystal report generator. Please use the staff provided detailed reports and tracking charts to ensure you have the complete list. For example, a mod scheduled to go to the Fire, Structural and mechanical TAC would be found on all of the details and tracking charts provided by staff but only found in one in the Crystal Report Generator.
