[Florida Code Talk] 47' ham radio antenna

i've seen folks deal with this relative to risk, ie would failure cause damage to the home or is the tower 47 + ft away and would just fall in the yard. If habitable structures are at risk you should have a pretty high level of
assurance no one is going to get hurt. Most of these guys sink some $'s in quality gear. Most better manufacturers (Rhon et al) have specs for installations. Seems that would be a minimum.

Chapter 16, wind load section states
“ANSI/TIA/EIA 222<UrlBlockedError.aspx> shall be permitted for communication tower and steel antenna support structures”

Not sure exactly what this standard is but it may help.

Anyone had any dealings with ham radio antennas? The only reference to antennas in the code is in FBC chapter 31. Does everyone require them to have sign and sealed plans? This one will be erected next to a SFR. Thanks for the help in advance.
